 Re: Gato's Trading Diary
Didn't find much to buy today so I'll probably sit most of this session out. I've got my eye on ATVI as a short if it looks weak, especially around the resistances at ~9.53, or even better 9.72.
I also plan on buying SSO when the stochs on the SPX 120 minute chart cross. Looks like it might be today.

 Re: Gato's Trading Diary
Feeling a little bit lazy today, plus the face that I couldn't find many good picks last night made me buy SSO. I also noticed that FINL hit a rock wall of resistance at 6.00 yesterday and Wednesday, so I told myself that if it stays above 6 for more than 10 minutes that it will be a buying opportunity. As soon as I made my purchase it moved right back down to 6. I added SSO @ 26.76 and FINL @ 6.04

 Re: Gato's Trading Diary
A couple items came up as potential long plays on the screener last night: ACV, CRI, ENZN, FDX, PNY. All of them were sitting right on support, but also look like they could fall right off the edge.
ENZN looks to be the safest play, but the upside is limited as well. ACV broke out right away in the morning, I didn't chase it, but it looked pretty good, at least at the time of this posting.
I ended up picking up FDX at 61. My target on it is ~63 but will have no probably waiting for 65, which looks like solid resistance. Stop at 60, which is below support.

Scaling into SPY and IYM puts around SPX 908.
